To say it, in a line, Year 2008, is one of the promising year in various fields all across the world (and also for moon). With 2008 coming to end, its time to revisit, prioritise and focus on desired goal. With that in Context, lets peak into the performance of smartpandian.com over the year 2008 and fine tune the blog to improve the reach of this blog towards the larger audience. And Hence, lets take a quick look at the summary of this blog.

Smartpandian.com currently features 70 posts, with 23 posts (including this) being published during this year 2008, there by, this site is grown at the rate of  2 blogs per month.

If we look closer at the blog statistics for this year, we could see that this site has shown a significant growth over the first month, i.e.,  January with 9 blogs,which is a high pitched start and then, reduced and has seen dots in the following months and finally, ends in december with the second highest number of 4 blogs.

Other than Statistics, the key factor that attracts the audience, is the blog content.  As I walk through the 23 blogs of this year, I could count for five to six instances where, the content is merely about this blog or purely this blog centric which could impact the repeat audience. Keeping this in mind, I have formulated two key points for the year 2009.

1. Target for 3 blogs per month,i.e., to maintain slow and steady run
2. Improve the blog content and thereby, reduce the no. of blogs on blog updates (one per 25 blogs)

In addition to these two key points, to improve the audience base and their participation, following features has been enabled on this blog starting from today.

1. User Registration, Open for Normal Users. (Register)
2. Guests(Visitors) can rate my posts. (Please rate this post. It just takes a second)

As a first step to reduce the no. of blogs on blog updates, there would be a new page expected to be launched by end of February, where the complete list of features of the blog, will be published.
