		<description>have been wondering about the same question. my conclusion: if there is no God, there is no meaning or purpose to life! 
temporal things like job, learning, family, friends, interests, compassion certainly provide meaning in life; but, they are temporal. where is the meaning in life when what we value most is taken away? 
for life to be meaningful, meaning should come from an eternal entity - something that cannot be lost, something that remains forever.
