No related posts.

Three weeks back, I bought a brand new DVD player, Onida DFX-7410. Â Using AV1 port(RCA), I connected the DVD player to TV(SAMSUNG CS21M50MEELXTL) and when a DVD was played, everything was perfect, except for the color. The color was flickering.

At first, I give my thought, over the probable causes of this fault. It has to be one of the following.

Faulty DVD Disc
This was ruled out, when I tried with several other DVD Discs. All the DVDs faces the same pattern of color Flicker.

Faulty Video Cable / AV Port of DVD Player
This again was ruled out, when I took the DVD player to my neighbour’s home and played the DVD. There, the picture is fine without any color flicker.

Faulty AV Port of TV
This was the last one in the list, I doubted on this, as the TV was 2-3 years old.
The TV has 3 AV Ports: AV1, AV2 and Alternate RCA port for AV1. I tried connecting the AV cable to each of the three RCA ports, the same color flicker issue persists. So, I assumed the common circuit for all the AV port needs servicing.
But this cause was ruled out when I connected my Camera Sony Cybershot DSC W300 to the TV using AV1 port, the Picture is brilliantly clear.

What’s that? Its DVD Format (NTSC/PAL)
So there is something, that causes the issue when the DVD player is connected to the Samsung TV.

Today, I googled to check about cause of the TV color flicker, I came to the yahoo Answers. Immediately, I switched on the DVD player/TV. I was looking for NTSC/PAL in TV/DVD Player ‘Settings”. I couldn’t find any option in TV, but in DVD player, there is a dedicated button ‘N/P’. I toggled it from PAL to NTSC, that resolves color flicker issue.

So What really happened was,
DVD Disc that I have played is of Format NTSC, while my TV is PAL one. My DVD Player needs to be set as NTSC to read the NTSC disc and convert the video to PAL so that my TV can understand.
In the case of my nieghbour, His TV is an pseudo Systems, it can automatically handle PAL/NTSC, that explains why it worked in his home without setting up NTSC mode.

Though India is the country where PAL is the Defacto standard, It doesn’t matter when it comes to DVDs. What really matters is that DVD format NTSC/PAL and DVD Region codes.

Check this out for more reference.<br

Almost every one in the IT industry, would have done, atleast one complete read of the confession mail and am sure that, everybody knows how it would be like riding a tiger without being eaten. But now, the question is, Has the tiger eaten, Ramalinga Raju?, or Ramalinga Raju, has escaped before the tiger has had its supper?.The answer to this question will be revealed over the days to come.

Keeping aside this biggest scam and taking this as a topic for a topsy turvy discussion, there arises a question, why this incident is like riding a tiger for Ramalinga Raju (RR) ? why not, its riding a Lion or any other wild animal?

To answer this question, one has to think broadly in a wide angle. Taking a Widest angle possible, The only person who came to my mind, is Lord Ayyappan. He has been riding tiger for ages. But, He always smiles, as if riding a tiger is so easy. So, He cant be the reason for this quote. Then, what could have made Ramalinga Raju to compare the scam to riding a Tiger?

Is it Bengal Tiger, Ganguly or the Bangalore Tiger, Azim Premji?
or is it because Tiger, being the National Animal of India, Ramalinga Raju knows the difficulty of riding It?

Still there were some missing blocks in this puzzle which are required to solve this puzzle completely, please drop in your thoughts in the comments below..

No related posts.

India Grows with a Rupee

Videoz

India
<guid

Almost all industries that has a revenue based on Exports were affected due to this reason. On the first sight, It appears that India was going down. But However, its really, really hard to accept that these were the symptoms of rapid growth of India compared to other world countries.

<a

India should have the ambition and the courage to sustain the current acceleration of growth no matter what happens globally. Our domestic economy can sustain such a growth process but we will need to pursue policies that can sustain growth. While India must remain alert to trends in the global economy, we must also recognise that the world is looking at India as a new engine of growth. If our economy continues to grow despite a global slowdown, we will be able to lift millions of our people from poverty and generate employment for our youth,” Dr. Singh said.

Enclosing, A video from Youtube, The future lies in the hands of Youth..<br

Its because of my unknown dizziness that builds up while watching this genre of Movies.Even for the most popular movies like braveheart, I was never been able to completely watch the movie.

But this sluggishness was not there, a day before, for the movie Elizabeth : the Golden Age. Its not that the movie is so good, Its just another average movie and it was all about the Virgin Queen Elizabeth ruled Britain on 1564. The movie was a unique experience in feeling the real effect of Dolby surround sound and the music was scored by the lady who was sitting next to me. Though I get irritated with those echoes, sad sounds that she made for each twists and turns of movie (twists were absolutely dumb), it adds beauty to movie watching experience.

Not only the background music, that makes me sit till the end of the movie, the real reason is that I was in a Cinemas. Guys, Its not like in DVD, where if you get bored, you can switch it off & play it sometimes later.

So, Fancied by the Elizabeth movie, I have decided to watch the Last Legion.
The movie takes us back to 564 AD, but the director was not successful in making the movie historically consistent. The Movie has become a complete fiction that connects the hereditary of Roman Empire with the Beginning of British Empire.
i.e., The story says that the last king of Rome, went to Brittania and founds a new empire.
The story was simple. But to tell this story, we need a Hero and Heroin. Hero is obviously we can guess, the commander of Roman Empire and the Heroin is from India, Mira (Aishwarya Rai). The Mira is (just ABCD) that she introduce herself as she was an kalari payattu expert(Seventh Grade) from Kerala, South India

I have to appreciate that the director has put the fact that Kalari payattu , the famous Martial Arts that is practised in the regions of Kerala from those olden days.
but both the terms, “Kerala” & “India” were part of 20th century and no worries, its just a fictional addition to the movie. The movie uses usual commercial formula of a normal movie and so, there was lots of holes in the screenplay.

The Final Verdict is that there was no real substance in the movie and also, its true that the movie is good for one who has never watched any history based movies.

Related posts:

<a

Just 4 days back I came to know that India doesn’t have National Language.

I felt ashamed. How come I was not sure of this small fact?.

Thank God.. Its not only me, my friends too. They were also under the thought that Hindhi is the Raastra Bhasha of India.. I felt very happy.. Because now I was a better Indian than them..

Also, I can safely conclude, more than half the population of India were under this conspiracy. Come On, India.

I dont know who has first imprinted this thought in my Mind.

When I was doing first year in College(Tamil Nadu), we went to NCC Naval Camp to Lonavala(Maharashtra). Most of us, dont know Hindhi. At that time, we were offended by Naval Person ( I dont remember his name / cadet) . He asked “Are you all Indians?”. He added that “Hindhi is the National language of India. so every Indian should know it.”

I felt offended. but I never gave thought over it at that time.

But Now, Its was really surprising for me to hear that India never had a National Language. This explains How India give importance to its each of its constituent languages. Long Live India…

If you also under this conspiracy.. Cheers Mate.. just give your comments.

Recently, United Nation has asked India to nominate a language for its official usage. This shows that India was becoming super power. But India was not in a position to suggest one language.

Reference :

<a
